Q:
Does it matter where I adopt my dog from?
A:As long as you adopt from a reputable shelter or rescue program, you’re good to go. Our team knows who those organizations are and will reach out to you if we have any questions.
Q:What are valid dates for my adoption receipt?
A:Dollar General customers get a head start on the One True Loyalty program and can adopt their new best friend(s) between 1/1/24 and 12/31/24. Just keep in mind, you must adopt your dog and make your PEDIGREE® purchase within 120 days of each other and all receipts must be uploaded no later than 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on 1/31/25.
If you purchase your PEDIGREE® products at a different retailer, your purchase receipt(s) and dog’s adoption receipt must be dated between 4/1/24 and 6/40/24, and submitted by 7/31/24 to qualify.
Q:What information should be included on my adoption receipt?
A:Your adoption receipt must include the shelter or rescue program name, date of adoption, address and phone number of the organization and how much you paid for your new pup.
Q:What if my adoption receipt doesn't include the address and phone number of the shelter or rescue program?
A:That information is required for you to qualify for the adoption rebate, so please clearly write the organization's address and phone number on the adoption receipt before you send it to us.
